Mark Potter - President and co-founder

Mark's career in agribusiness has spanned more than 25 years.  Since receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Mankato State University, Mark has held several General Manager, as well as Grain and Feed Division Management positions for farm-supply cooperatives in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Working daily with dairy producers, Mark became heavily involved with the launch of the Dairy Options Pilot Program (DOPP), which spurred him to get his Series 3 license, and to develop and start a new brokerage division for his former employer.  In February 2004, Mark, Keith and Dan co-founded KDM Trading, Inc.

Dan Schindler - Vice President and co-founder

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Stout, Dan started his career as a programmer at IBM in Rochester, MN.  From there, he joined Cargill, Inc. in Minneapolis as a systems analyst in their Financial Markets Division, and spent four years on foreign assignment, supporting financial trading systems at their European headquarters near London.  Dan returned to Minneapolis to work for Cargill Steel as their Technology Infrastructure Manager, before joining MarketWatch.com as Director of Technical Client Service.  Wanting to combine his technical background and interest in finance, Dan obtained his Series 3 license and went to work with Mark and Keith as a dairy commodities broker.
